Formulation of Biostimulants Based on Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi for Maize Growth and Yield

The objective of the study was to evaluate fertilizing potential two arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi ( Glomeraceae and Acaulosporaceae ) native rhizosphere soils Benin in a controlled environment (under greenhouse) field environment. For this purpose, corn seeds were coated with strains then deposited 5 cm deep holes. Different doses mineral fertilizer applied according treatments.The experimental design split plot ten treatments three replicates both conditions. Sowing done following per pot greenhouse lasted 30 80 days respectively. data collected related growth, yield infection roots. results greenhouse), show that plants treated +25%NPK+Urea significantly improve height, diameter at collar, dry subterranean biomass respective increases 63.74%, 61.53%, 47.79% except for leaf area aerial which improved by 42.66% 57.2% compared control. showed best maize yields grain, obtained strain 25%NPK+Urea 65.28%, 51.26%, 136.36% control plants. Also, high values recorded frequency intensity mycorrhization under Mycorrhizal inoculation beneficial effect combination 25% NPK+Urea while more expressed greenhouse. These endogenous can be used as biostimulants increase productivity considerably reducing inputs Benin.
